Biography
Emma D'Arcy (born Emma Zia D'Arcy, 27 June 1992) is an English actor. They were born in Enfield, London, and studied at St Edmund Hall, Oxford. D'Arcy began in theatre, including productions at the Almeida Theatre and as joint artistic director of Forward Arena Theatre Company, before their screen debut.
Their first major television role was as Naomi Richards in the BBC series Wanderlust (2018). They have since appeared in Truth Seekers (2020), Hanna (2019–2020) and Mothering Sunday (2021). D'Arcy is known for portraying Rhaenyra Targaryen in the HBO series House of the Dragon (2022–present), for which they received two Golden Globe Award nominations. They played Lena in the 2026 film Digger.
