Biography
Emma Lowney is a production designer and set decorator. She began her career as a production buyer on John Crowley’s Brooklyn (2015) and advanced through set decoration on films including The Lost City of Z (2016), Black '47 (2018) and Margrete: Queen of the North (2021).
Lowney made her production design debut on the experimental feature Dollhouse (2012). She is best known for her work on The Quiet Girl (2022), for which she received an IFTA. Other production design credits include Rose Plays Julie (2019) and The Winter Lake (2020). She has also worked on international projects such as the series Spy City (2020).
