Biography
Emma Seligman is a Canadian film director and screenwriter. She was born on 3 May 1995 in Toronto and graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
She is known for writing and directing the feature Shiva Baby (2020), which originated as her 2018 NYU thesis short of the same name, and for writing and directing Bottoms (2023), which she co-wrote with Rachel Sennott. The pair first collaborated on the short and have worked together on both features.
