Biography
Emmanuel Restrepo Zapata is a Colombian actor, director and producer. Born in Medellín in 1992, he studied dramatic arts at the Universidad Central de Colombia and specialised in scenic acting at Teatro Libre in Bogotá. He began his career in theatre, later becoming a teacher of dramatic arts, an improviser and the founder of the Compañía Nacional de las Artes.
Restrepo made his television debut in the 2015 Nickelodeon series Yo soy Franky. Subsequent credits include Enfermeras (2021–2022), Rigo (2023) as Carmelo Rendón Barreneche, Eva Lasting (2023) as Camilo Granados, and the role of Young José Arcadio 'El papa' in the Netflix series One Hundred Years of Solitude (2024).
