Biography
Emmy Schønfeld was a Danish actress. She was born Emmy Gandrup on 13 April 1873 in Aarhus and died on 27 May 1956. She began her stage career in 1896 and appeared in numerous Danish productions, specialising in comic and farce roles.
Schønfeld is credited in Benjamin Christensen's Häxan (1922) as Karna's Assistant, also listed as Marie the Seamstress. Her other film appearances include Smil og Tåre (1923) as Rosalie Krass, Stamherren (1925) as Gamle Ane, Den ny husassistent (1933) as Kristiane, De bør forelske Dem (1935), and Barnet (1940) as Gamle fru Olsen. She was married to the actor Reinar Schønfeld.
