Biography
Enrique Rambal (also credited as Enrique Rambal Sacia or Enrique Rambal Jr.) was a Spanish-Mexican actor. He was born on 8 May 1924 in Valencia, Spain, and died on 15 December 1971 in Mexico City. The son of actor and director Enrique Rambal García, he began his career in Spain in the 1940s before moving to Mexico in the 1950s.
Rambal appeared in numerous films from 1952 to 1971. He is known for his portrayal of Jesus in El mártir del Calvario (1952). He played Edmundo Nóbile in Luis Buñuel's The Exterminating Angel (1962), alongside his then-wife Lucy Gallardo. He was also married to actress Mercedes Borqué and directed several television series.
