Biography

Éponine Momenceau is a French cinematographer. She graduated from the Image Department of La Fémis in 2011. She directed short films including Jungle (2012) and Waves Become Wings (2013), the latter screened at the Palais de Tokyo.

Momenceau served as director of photography on Jacques Audiard’s Dheepan (2015), which won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. She received a César Award nomination for Best Cinematography for the film.

Her subsequent feature credits as director of photography include Strangers by Night (2023) and Connemara (2025). She also worked as additional camera on All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (2022).
