Biography
Eric Koretz is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer working in narrative film, television and commercials. He holds an MFA in cinematography from the American Film Institute and an undergraduate degree in graphic design from Syracuse University. He began his career in documentaries, including the SXSW award-winning Dragonslayer.
His feature credits include Comet (2014), Frank & Lola (2016), The Last Word (2017), Siberia (2018), Mosquito State (2020) — for which he won the Bisato d’Oro for best cinematography at the Venice Film Festival — Savage Salvation (2022) and Greedy People (2024). Festival screenings include Sundance. On television he served as director of photography on the final season of Ozark (2022), for which he received an Emmy nomination, and on Lioness (2023).
More recent work includes cinematography on the Netflix series Ransom Canyon (2025) and The Shards (2026). He is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild.
