Biography
Eric Nelsen is an American actor and producer. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, on 26 June 1991, he moved to New York City as a teenager and originated the role of Brett Sampson in the original Broadway production of the musical 13.
Nelsen is known for his role as Ennis in the Paramount+ series 1883 (2021). His other credits include the film A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014) as Howie, voice work in Epic (2013), and appearances in television series such as NCIS, Blue Bloods, iCarly, The Following, The Good Wife and Law & Order. He is credited as Merriell Sunday Jr. in the 2026 film The Yeti.
As a producer and actor on the web series The Bay, Nelsen has won multiple Daytime Emmy Awards. He also received a Tony Award as a producer of the Broadway play The Inheritance.
