Biography
Eric Scanlan is an American actor of Samoan and Filipino descent. He is a SAG-AFTRA member based in Los Angeles.
Raised in Los Angeles and Hawaii, Scanlan attended Duke University on a football scholarship. After a career in medical sales and community activism, he began acting in 2018 with a lead role in the short film Carson. He subsequently appeared in a recurring guest-starring role as Natano Reigns in four episodes of the television series Hawaii Five-0 (2019).
Scanlan has had roles in Station 19 (2021) as Larry, 9-1-1: Lone Star (2022) as a referee, Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022), and the short film Fili (2023) as Vaea. He is cast as Tulafale in the film Moana (2026).
