Biography
Eric Warren Singer is an American screenwriter. Born on 1 August 1968 in Los Angeles, California, he began his career writing an episode of the animated series Æon Flux in 1995. His first produced feature screenplay was The International (2009).
Singer received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay, shared with David O. Russell, for American Hustle (2013). He also wrote Only the Brave (2017) and shared screenplay credit on Top Gun: Maverick (2022), for which he earned a further Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. He contributed the story for Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025) and has worked as a producer on several projects, including American Hustle.
