Biography
Erik Athavale is a Canadian actor. He was born on 18 September 1990 in Windsor, Ontario, to Emily, a Canadian of Polish descent, and Ashok, an immigrant from India. He attended the University of Winnipeg, where he majored in Education with a Theatre minor, before earning a degree in marketing from the University of Manitoba. He renewed his focus on acting in 2012.
Athavale has appeared in supporting and character roles in films including Ordinary Angels (2024) as Dr. Ghorbani, Nobody (2021), Run (2020), Ghostland (2018), Violent Night (2022), Orphan: First Kill (2022), Fractured (2019) and Breakthrough (2019). His television credits include Ghosts (2021), Tales from the Loop (2020) and Acting Good (2022–2025).
