Biography
Erik Oleson is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 7 February 1973 in Washington, District of Columbia, and grew up in Clifton, Virginia. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1995.
Before becoming a writer, Oleson worked on film production crews and as a script reader for Kathleen Kennedy, Chris Columbus and Jeffrey Katzenberg. His first writing credit was on the series Andromeda (2000). He later wrote for series including Arrow (2014–2015), The Man in the High Castle (2016) and Unforgettable (2011).
Oleson served as showrunner and executive producer on the third season of Marvel’s Daredevil (2018) and the second season of Carnival Row (2023). He was head writer and executive producer on the second season of The Man in the High Castle. He received a USC Scripter Award nomination in 2017 and founded the production company CrimeThink in 2022.
