Biography
Erwin S. Gelsey (1900–1988) was an American screenwriter. He contributed screenplays and stories to numerous Hollywood films, primarily in the 1930s and 1940s.
His credits include the screenplay for Gold Diggers of 1933 (1933), Flying Down to Rio (1933), the story for Swing Time (1936) and Cover Girl (1944), and the screenplay for Jewel Robbery (1932). He also worked on The Big Broadcast of 1937 and other productions.
