Biography
Esmeralda Calabria is an Italian film editor and director. She began working as an editor in 1992 and has edited numerous feature films, including The Son's Room (2001), directed by Nanni Moretti.
Calabria has received three David di Donatello awards for best editing, for Not of This World (1999), Crime Novel (2005) and Bad Tales (2020). She was nominated for the same award for The Son's Room. She has also directed documentaries, including Biùtiful cauntri (2007), which she co-directed, and Lievito madre - Le ragazze del secolo scorso (2017).
