Biography
Eugenia Gilbert (born Genevieve May Knapp) was an American actress in silent films of the 1920s. She was also credited as Eugenia Knapp, Genevieve May Knapp and Eugenie Gilbert.
She made her screen debut in the short Paul's Peril (1920) and appeared in comedies, westerns and serials. Her credits include Seven Chances (1925), in which she played the girl who laughs at Jimmie at the club, as well as films with Mack Sennett and Hal Roach and leading roles opposite Leo Maloney and Hoot Gibson. She retired from acting in 1929.
