Biography
Evabritt Strandberg is a Swedish actress and singer. Born on 7 April 1943 in Stockholm, she trained at the Royal Dramatic Training Academy from 1962 to 1965.
She worked at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (1965–67), the National Swedish Touring Theatre (1967–68) and Gothenburg City Theatre (1968–83). Her film roles include a part in Bo Widerberg’s Kärlek 65 (1965) and the role of She (Woman in the Film) in Jean-Luc Godard’s Masculin Féminin (1966). She later appeared in the television series Beck (2016).
As a singer she released the LP En sång ett vapen in 1965 and has interpreted songs by Jacques Brel, Édith Piaf, Lars Forssell and Cornelis Vreeswijk. In 1995 she received the Cornelis Vreeswijk Scholarship.
