Biography
Eve Meyer (born Evelyn Eugene Turner) was an American film producer, pin-up model and actress. Born on 13 December 1928 in Griffin, Georgia, she began her career as a high-profile model in the 1950s, appearing as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in June 1955. She made an uncredited film debut in Artists and Models (1955) and later took a lead role in Eve and the Handyman (1961).
Meyer married filmmaker Russ Meyer in 1952; they divorced in 1969. She worked extensively with him, serving as producer or associate producer on films including Lorna (1964), Motorpsycho! (1965), Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965), Vixen! (1968) and Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970). She was killed on 27 March 1977 in the Tenerife airport disaster.
