Biography
Frederick A. Turner, also credited as F. A. Turner, Fred Turner or Frank Turner, was an American actor of the silent era. He appeared in approximately 68 films between 1914 and 1922, often in supporting roles.
Born on 12 October 1858 in New York City, he began his screen career with short films and features such as The Escape (1914). He is noted for his performance as the girl's father in the modern story of D. W. Griffith's Intolerance (1916). Other credits include Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm (1917) and The Jack-Knife Man (1920). He died on 13 February 1923.
