Biography
Felix Jackson, also credited as Felix Joachimson, was a German-born American screenwriter and film producer. Born in Hamburg in 1902, he began his career in Germany as a city editor, dramatic and music critic, and theatre manager in Berlin before entering the film industry in the early 1930s.
He emigrated to the United States in 1937 and worked in Hollywood, where his credits included the story and screenplay for Destry Rides Again (1939). His earlier screenplay for the 1935 film Little Mother formed the basis for the 1939 remake Bachelor Mother. Jackson also produced several films, including some featuring Deanna Durbin, and later worked in television production.
