Biography
Fernando Wagner (also credited as Ferdinand Wagner) was a German-born Mexican actor, film director and cinematographer. Born on 7 November 1905 in Göttingen, Germany, he worked extensively in Mexican cinema and appeared in several Hollywood productions.
He is known for his role as Mohr in The Wild Bunch (1969) and for appearances in La Perla (1947), Tarzan and the Mermaids (1948), Garden of Evil (1954), Viva Maria! (1965) and Su Excelencia (1967). Wagner also directed films including Virgin Sacrifice (1960). He died on 20 October 1973 in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
