Biography
Flora Volpelière is a French film editor. She joined the Kourtrajmé collective around 1999 and worked particularly with Kim Chapiron. After not being accepted to film school, she trained as a Monteuse and served as assistant editor to Benjamin Weill from around 2009.
Her feature editing debut came with West Coast (2016). She has edited numerous shorts, series episodes and features including La Vie de Château (2017), The Magic Tuche (2018), Les Misérables (2019), Magnetic Beats (2021), Bloody Oranges (2021), Dark Glasses (2022), Les Indésirables (2023) and Plastic Guns (2024). She edited both the 2017 short and 2019 feature versions of Les Misérables directed by Ladj Ly.
For Les Misérables (2019) she received the CST Vulcain de l’artiste technicien award at Cannes in 2019 and the César for Best Editing in 2020.
