Biography
Florinda Chico Martín-Mora was a Spanish actress who worked in film, theatre and television. Born in Don Benito, Extremadura, she began her career on the stage in musical revues in the 1940s before making her screen debut in the early 1950s.
She appeared in more than 150 films, often in supporting roles in comedies directed by Mariano Ozores, and also took dramatic parts including Rosa in Cría cuervos (1976) and Poncia in La casa de Bernarda Alba (1987). She was a regular on Spanish television series such as La casa de los líos (1996–2000). Chico died in Madrid in 2011.
