Biography
Folke Sundquist (4 November 1925 – 13 January 2009) was a Swedish actor. He appeared in 21 films between 1951 and 1968.
He trained at the Göteborg City Theatre school in the mid-1940s and spent the greater part of his stage career at Malmö City Theatre from 1950 until 1983. His film breakthrough came in 1951 in One Summer of Happiness, directed by Arne Mattsson, after which he appeared in several further Swedish features of the 1950s.
Sundquist played Anders, one of the hitchhikers, in Ingmar Bergman's Wild Strawberries (1957) and had an uncredited role in Bergman's Hour of the Wolf (1968). He later worked as a volunteer in humanitarian aid in Greece.
