Biography
France Delahalle was a French actress. She was born Marie Madeleine Émilie Françoise Delahalle on 20 August 1922 in Paris and died there on 8 February 2004.
She trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, graduating in the class of 1948. Delahalle appeared in films including PlayTime (1967), in which she played a shopper in a department store, J'ai tué Raspoutine (1967) and Ils (1970). She also worked extensively in television and theatre, with credits including episodes of Au théâtre ce soir (1970–1981) and Les enquêtes du commissaire Maigret (1980).
From the 1980s she co-directed the Théâtre Saint-Georges in Paris with her partner Georges Herbert.
