Biography
Francine Cousteau (née Triplet) is a French producer and the president of the Cousteau Society and Équipe Cousteau. She served as co-producer on the 2021 documentary Becoming Cousteau and provided archive audio as herself.
Born in 1946 in Limoges, she worked as a flight attendant before meeting Jacques-Yves Cousteau in 1976. They had two children, Diane and Pierre-Yves, and married in 1991. Following Cousteau’s death in 1997, she has led the organisations he founded, overseeing conservation, education and archival projects.
