Biography
Franciszek Trzeciak is a Polish actor and director. He was born on 1 October 1942 in Wieniawka near Trembowla (now in Ukraine). After several attempts he was admitted to the National Film School in Łódź, where he graduated in 1965 while working as a dresser and messenger in a theatre.
He performed in theatres including the New Theatre in Łódź, the National Theatre in Warsaw and the Polish Theatre in Warsaw. Trzeciak is known for film roles such as Badecki in Man of Iron (1981) and appearances in Hazardziści (1976) and Killer 2 (1999). He has also directed several films and received awards including the Zbigniew Cybulski Award in 1974 for his role in Na wylot.
