Biography
François Velle is a French director and writer. He was born on 22 July 1961 in Paris and is the son of actor Louis Velle and novelist Frédérique Hébrard. He has lived in Los Angeles since 1999.
Velle has directed episodes of the series Bones (2010–2013), Ransom (2017) and Doc Martin (2013). His feature films include The Narrows (2008) and New Suit (2002). He has also directed numerous French television series and miniseries, including Mother Is Wrong (2018), De Gaulle (2020) and Off Track (2023). He is also credited as Frankie Shades.
