Biography

Françoise Javet was a French film editor active from the late 1940s to the late 1980s. She edited Purple Noon (1960), directed by René Clément.

Her other credits include That Man from Rio (1964), Up to His Ears (1965), King of Hearts (1966), Rider on the Rain (1970), The Annuity (1972), Two Men in Town (1973), Incorrigible (1975) and Dear Inspector (1977). In 1982 she received a César Award nomination for editing La Balance.
