Biography
Frank Melton was an American actor. He was born on 6 December 1907 in Pine Apple, Alabama, and died on 19 March 1951 in Hollywood, California.
Melton appeared in numerous films from the late 1920s to the early 1950s, often in supporting or uncredited roles. He played Fleming 'Flem' Talley in Judge Priest (1934). Other credits include State Fair (1933), The Buccaneer (1938), Pot o' Gold (1941) and The Red Badge of Courage (1951). He was under contract to Fox in the 1930s and appeared in six films with Will Rogers.
Melton was educated at Moore Academy, West Point and the Citadel. He died of a heart attack.
