Biography
Fred Chandler is a film producer and post-production executive. He served as producer on the 1993 documentary It's All True: Based on an Unfinished Film by Orson Welles.
While director of technical services at Paramount Pictures, Chandler discovered approximately 300 cans of previously lost nitrate footage from Orson Welles's 1942 project in a studio vault in 1985. He arranged for its donation to the American Film Institute and contributed to its preservation and use in the documentary.
