Biography
Frédéric van den Driessche is a French actor born on 8 December 1956 in Tourcoing. He trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique in Paris, graduating in 1981.
He played Charles in Éric Rohmer’s A Tale of Winter (1992) and Paul Négrel in Germinal (1993). On television he has taken the title role in the series Louis Page (1998–2009) and portrayed Dr Alain Alphand in Un si grand soleil since 2018. He is also a regular voice actor in French dubbing, notably for Liam Neeson.
Other screen credits include Sky Fighters (2005), The Exterminating Angels (2006) and Saturn Bowling (2022).
