Biography
Frederik Wiedmann is a German composer. Born in 1981 in Stuttgart, he studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating summa cum laude in 2005. He began his film composing career in the mid-2000s with horror features such as Return to House on Haunted Hill (2007).
Wiedmann has scored numerous animated films, including several entries in the DC Animated Movie Universe such as Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013), Son of Batman (2014) and Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (2020). He contributed music to the third season of the series Star Trek: Picard (2020) with Stephen Barton. His television work includes the Netflix animated series The Dragon Prince (2018–), for which he earned a Daytime Emmy nomination, and Nickelodeon’s Big Nate.
