Biography
Frieda Knorr was a British actress. She was born on 9 December 1934 in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, England, and died on 7 April 2015 in Uxbridge, Middlesex, England.
Her credited roles include Second Mrs. Crain (uncredited) in the film The Haunting (1963), Iris in the television series The Avengers (1963), Governor Le Grand in Blake's 7 (1979), and Mrs. Balfour in Kadoyng (1972). She also appeared in episodes of Dixon of Dock Green and other British television series between the 1960s and 1980s, sometimes credited as Frieda Shand.
She was married to actor and director Ian Shand from 1965 until his death in 1993. She was also a soprano.
