Biography
Gabriel Spahiu is a Romanian actor born on 21 March 1968 in Bucharest. He graduated from the Saint Sava High School in 1986, the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Bucharest in 1992, and the Academy of Theatre and Film in Bucharest in 1996, where he studied under Olga Tudorache.
Spahiu has appeared in numerous films since the late 1990s, including The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005), Aferim! (2015), Everybody in Our Family (2012), and the international production War Dogs (2016), in which he played Enver. He has collaborated frequently with director Radu Jude and received the Gopo Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2013 for his role in Everybody in Our Family. He has also worked in theatre, television and voice acting.
