Biography
Gaby Dellal is a British film and television director, writer and former actress. Born in London in 1961, she began her career acting in the 1980s before moving into directing shorts and anthology segments, including contributions to Tube Tales (1999).
Her feature directorial debut On a Clear Day (2005) opened the Sundance Film Festival and won a Scottish BAFTA for best film. Subsequent features include Angels Crest (2011) and 3 Generations (2015), which she also wrote. She directed the three-part ITV drama Leaving (2012) and an episode of the Netflix series You (2025). Dellal has also worked in theatre as a director and associate director.
She is the daughter of businessman Jack Dellal and was previously married to producer Eric Fellner, with whom she has three sons.
