Biography
Gary Mallaber is an American musician and actor. Born on 11 October 1946 in Buffalo, he began playing drums in the local band Raven and later became known as a drummer, percussionist, songwriter and session musician, notably with the Steve Miller Band.
In 1974 he appeared in the film Phantom of the Paradise, credited as Band, and performed on its soundtrack. He has also contributed to soundtracks for other films including Bugsy Malone (1976) and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989), and worked in music departments on projects such as That Thing You Do! (1996).
