Biography
Gary Ungar is a film and television producer. He began his credited work in the industry as executive producer on the 2003 horror film Gothika and followed this with Modigliani (2004).
Ungar has collaborated extensively with Guillermo del Toro. He served as executive producer on the television series The Strain (2014–2017) and on the anthology series Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities (2022). He was a producer on the stop-motion animated feature Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022), which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2023.
