Biography
Gaspar Noé is an Argentine filmmaker, screenwriter, editor and producer who lives and works primarily in France. He was born on 27 December 1963 in Buenos Aires and trained at the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in Paris.
Noé is known for directing I Stand Alone (1998), Irreversible (2002), Enter the Void (2009), Love (2015), Climax (2018), Lux Æterna (2019) and Vortex (2021). On Love he also served as screenwriter, editor, producer and appeared in a supporting role as an art gallery owner. He has maintained a long-term partnership with filmmaker Lucile Hadžihalilović since 1985 and they co-founded the production company Les Cinémas de la Zone.
