Biography
Gavin Scott is an English writer, novelist and former broadcaster. Born in Kingston upon Hull in 1950, he spent ten years making documentaries and short films for the BBC and Channel 4 before becoming a screenwriter.
His screenwriting credits include The Borrowers (1997), Small Soldiers (1998) and Absolutely Anything (2015), the last co-written with Terry Jones. He also wrote for The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (1992) and teleplays for the miniseries The Mists of Avalon (2001) and Legend of Earthsea (2004).
