Biography
Geert de Jong is a Belgian stage and film actress. She was born on 8 July 1951 in Diest, Flanders. She graduated from Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerp in 1972 and was a member of Toneelgroep De Appel in The Hague from 1973 until the company's dissolution in 2016, also directing productions there from 2004.
Her film roles include Ria in The 4th Man (1983) and Danny Gisberts in Schatjes! (1984; also known as Darlings!). She won a Gouden Kalf for Best Actress in 1986 for her performance in Mama is boos!.
