Biography
Geneviève Rioux is a Québécoise actor and television host who works in theatre, film and television. She graduated from the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal in 1983 and has been active since that year.
Her film roles include Danielle in Le Déclin de l'empire américain (1986), for which she received a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and Sonia in Cruising Bar (1989). On television she has appeared in series such as L'Héritage, Chartrand et Simonne and Toute la vérité. She has also worked as a host, writer and director, and has received two Prix Gémeaux and the Prix Gascon-Roux for her theatre work.
