Biography
George P. Abbott was an explorer and actor. He appeared as himself in archive footage in the 1924 British documentary The Great White Silence, directed and photographed by Herbert G. Ponting. The film records the British Antarctic Expedition of 1910–1913 led by Captain Robert Falcon Scott.
