Biography
George Salazar is an American actor and singer known for his work on and off Broadway. Born on 7 March 1986 in Kissimmee, Florida, he graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from the University of Florida. He made his Broadway debut in the 2011 revival of Godspell.
Salazar originated the role of Michael Mell in Be More Chill, performing it in the 2018 Off-Broadway and 2019 Broadway productions. He also originated the role of Grover in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical and played Seymour Krelborn in a Pasadena Playhouse production of Little Shop of Horrors. On screen, he had a recurring role as George Conway in Impeachment: American Crime Story (2021). In 2025 he made his feature film debut voicing Happy, with facial motion capture, in Disney's Snow White.
