Biography
George Walcott (15 October 1914 – 18 August 1964) was an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, California, he began his career on stage as a child and appeared in several Broadway productions in the 1920s and 1930s, including The Swan and It's a Wise Child.
He made his film debut in 1935 and worked in cinema until 1942. Walcott is known for his roles as Tom Wilson in Fury (1936) and Charlie Martin in Stella Dallas (1937). Other credits include Cocoanut Grove (1938) and Born Reckless (1937, credited as George Wolcott). He also appeared in supporting parts in films such as The Mandarin Mystery (1936) and Western Jamboree (1938).
