Biography
Georgie Collins was a Canadian actress known for her work in film, television and theatre. Born Eileen Georgina Given in Calgary, Alberta, she began her stage career in the 1960s and made her screen debut in the 1974 film The Visitor.
She appeared in supporting roles in films including Ghostkeeper (1981), Rad (1986), Housekeeping (1987) and How the West Was Fun (1994). Collins was also active in Calgary's theatre community, serving as artistic director of the Pleiades Theater from 1976 to 1990, and was recognised as a founding member of ACTRA Calgary.
She died in Calgary in 2017.
