Biography
Georgy Alburov is a Russian journalist, blogger and political activist. He studied political science at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and joined Alexei Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation in 2012, where he headed the investigations department until 2021 alongside Maria Pevchikh.
Alburov contributed to several investigative films produced by the foundation. He appeared as himself in the 2022 documentary Navalny and received the Redkollegia award in 2021 for his work on Putin’s Palace: History of World’s Largest Bribe (2021), on which he is also credited as writer.
