Biography
Gerald Green was a film producer. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, he studied at Saint Martin's School of Art in London before moving to the United States in 1970. His early producing credits included Man Friday (1975) and Tintorera: Killer Shark (1977).
Green produced Oliver Stone's Salvador (1986), for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for best picture. Later executive producer credits included My First Mister (2001) and Rescue Dawn (2007). He died in Los Angeles in 2015.
