Biography
Gideon Emery is an English actor and voice actor. Born on 12 September 1972 in Windsor, England, he was raised in both England and South Africa. He began his career in South African theatre after being discovered by actor Bill Flynn while a student, and appeared in productions including Heel Against the Head, for which he won a national Vita Award for Comedy.
Emery is known for recurring television roles including Deucalion in Teen Wolf (2013–2017) and Anatoly Ranskahov in Marvel's Daredevil (2015). He has provided voices and motion-capture performances in numerous video games such as Final Fantasy XII (2006), Dragon Age II (2011) and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (2014), as well as in animated films including the How to Train Your Dragon series. He has lived in Los Angeles since 2003.
