Biography
Gilles Aird is a production designer and art director. He was born on 9 August 1960 in Cherbourg, Manche, France.
He began working in set decoration and the property department on Quebec productions in the 1980s. Aird received production design credits on Highlander III: The Sorcerer (1994), Silent Trigger (1996) and Hollow Point (1996). He later worked as art director on Secret Window (2004), Head in the Clouds (2004), Whiteout (2009) and as supervising art director on Warm Bodies (2013).
His production design credits also include several Quebec features such as The 3 L'il Pigs (2007), Je me souviens (2009) and 10½ (2010), as well as episodes of the television series Lassie (1997–1999). Aird is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada’s Quebec District Council.
